Last November, we secured the contract with the Department of Tourism (DOT) to prepare the Tourism Development Plan of Zamboanga del Norte, which includes the two cities of Dipolog and Dapitan.
In January, we had the chance to carry out consultations with key stakeholders of the province, and to explore the province as well.
The province also has beautiful stretches of beach, the historical significance as the place of of Rizal's exile in Dapitan, and an evolving public nightlife along Dipolog's sunset boulevard. There are many other sites that we also had the opportunity to explore. We look forward to completing our report and submitting our recommendations to the DOT and the province.
